Ben, yea your right, but INSURANCE ! if the guy has just crashed then his premiums aint gonna be low are they, and you hardly pay the same insurance on an XR2 as an RT do you if your ignorin insurance then sod the RT an get an XR2, but obviously its gonna sting you so id go for the RT

for the money probably nothin better and i can keep up with the 1.6 205 GTi to about 60/70 in my RT

try a higher pressure, my car handles like crap IMO on any pressure lower than 35 all round usually have 36 all round

well the K-Tec 4.5" is VERY loud

mines a 1992 Clio 1 Phase 1 and its that speed sensor i was talkin about oh an Nick, i thought it was obvious i was talkin about the accelerator cable hehe

all the figures are at the wheels mate and most of the other cars were roughly what we expected with the odd surprise when it came to the 172s though the power was all over the place, each and every one seemed to vary in power by quite a margin in some cases

just wondering if all the Clio cables have a sensor on the end ? i know the 16vs have somethin extra for the computer but they all have a sensor dont they ?

as Nick says idle problems seem common on Renaults........ first thing i would do though is to clean the idle speed control valve, basically cos this is FREE !........if that doesnt work then id go for the coolant temp sensor, and then the accelerator cable

couldnt you get an aftermarket traction control thingy ?.....like people with NOS use ?
