I'd just run it for a bit and make sure nothing else goes wrong or falls off. Noisy dephaser doesn't need doing straight away.

Yeah that's true. I'm going to have another go at getting Mini to sort the rust on the boot then make a better effort at selling. I've never enjoyed cleaning cars.

Yep. Mine on 106k even with all the major jobs done is worth nothing. One of the reasons for buying a Mini was the ease of selling, I just bought the wrong one.

My first phase 1 was completely stripped and I loved it. It's all easy enough to remove so give it a try, if you don't like it just put everything back in.

I think the market is a bit soft for them now. Seem to have come down in price lots recently. Mines only been advertised on forums since yesterday, haven't had any interest.

Mine is up for 4k and there's 40,000 miles between them. I have Sat nav and white roof other than that our cars are identical.
