cheers Alex, car is goin the garage tomorrow to check out the rear brakes and hand brake cable, and also possible strip/rebuild of the front calipers, so ill ask him to tighten the alternator and check the connections

hi mate i got some numbers now ignition off - 12.5v ignition on - 13.5v stuff on - 13.5v so this means its running ok ? i had my headlights on main beam, the blowers on hot and on full, and my HU and Snooper on

you will have to ring him mate, i think the under bumper scoop is £20-£25 and comes with some tubing aswell, but im not 100%

they got back to me, and the guy who called me said the only Haynes stuff Halfords deal in is the books, none of the garage equipment or anythin like that, he did suggest a Haynes book which apparently gives some information on how to get the codes without the help of a reader, im gonna go into...

ive never known a race engine use a 0W, they always seem to use a 15W-50 Matt, i really would suggest changing your oil to something thicker, even the new 172s dont use a 0W, though it may be fine to start with when new you want at least a 10W in a 16v/Willy, if not a 15W, there older...

hi Joe, ive just been on the phone to Halfords in Burnley and they said they havent got one, Gunson dont do them, but there gonna ring Haynes and ask em for me how much one is im not expecting it to be cheap !

that oil is too thin for a 16v, expect to be usin a lot of oil, keep your eye on the level regularly, every 2 weeks at least if you use your car a lot you should have used the 10W-60 variety, however this is hard to get hold of, as most places no longer sell that version

if you get a letter, which you shouldnt, then dont simply accept it as you seem pretty sure you wasnt doin over 30 for a start the camera has to be painted yellow, they cant just paint the front of it, so if you do get a letter, go take a picture of it before they paint the back if there are...
