Pete, you obviously have a lot of support on here, and people seem 100% convinced you were not at fault in any way, take it to court, you should have enough witnesses
:@:o:(
thats really bad, just the crash is bad enough, pete had been tryin to get a 16v for AGES, then he finally gets one and some woman in a car park does that !!!

IMO id go for the hill power kit, as you need to modify the ECU so that it doesnt run lean top end with an induction kit, and Nick Hill knows how to do that
well i know mines an RT, and probably a little bit different, but i had mine sorted yesterday and im pretty sure he didnt take the exhaust off to do it
yes im sure, afaik only Adrian Flux cover your mods, but, ive heard a pretty bad story about them so ive moved company
and yea, if you dont tell em, your insurance could, and most likely would, be voided by them
never used any flush but they have a display thing in my local Halfords for the Wynns stuff and it looks pretty decent, possibly usin some myself on my next oil change
there is another product, ask 2live about it, its made by someone who makes this good fuel additive, not sure what its called...
GR, you do realise that most insurance companies dont actually cover your mods, they just charge you more cos your car is either more likely to get stolen, or its faster

Renault do sell it, and i think it might be ready mixed with water, but as long as you get the right type, others will be fine
i think there are 2 types of coolant, somethin like ethyl glycol or summat, and another

also, have you heard an engine with too thin an oil, my handbook for my car recommends a 15W-50, when i used a 10W-40 once, my car was very tappety, i changed it about 3k later as i didnt feel the oil was giving a thick enough coating to my engine internals, based simply upon the noise it was making
what i am sayin mate, is that thicker oils are better for older cars, they simply were not designed with the small tolerances of todays engines, and thin oil could possibly end up in places where it shouldnt, and not give a thick enough coating, such as in a Turbo, the GTT boys strictly advise...
also, then lets consider 2 other oils, of similar ratings to those being discussed
20W-50
Kinematic Viscosity @ 100°C - 18.3
Kinematic Viscosity @ 40°C - 128.1
0W-30
Kinematic Viscosity @ 100°C - 11.3
Kinematic Viscosity @ 40°C - 57.3
if i use some estimations, at say 70C, id say...
Joe what i was saying was that oils are actually thicker (more viscous) than others of a lower rating
and if you consider the figures ive posted, then it still proves than one oil is thicker than another at operating temp, does engine oil actually reach 100C ?........i would think it would be...
