Temp sensor connections, theres always been a problem with these either tighten the pins or new sensor as well its located just behind the air box to the left in the thermostat housing if you take the elbow off you might see it easyier

Who said about metal? it was water damage it can bend a valve due to them being closed at time of compression it bends the rod cos it cant compress the water. thus no compression cos the piston wont move up properly due to it being bent.

interor temp sensor is up by the interior light there are different types on 182. look for a little blue dot up by the light these are the better type ones.
is the heater on auto? mixing flap motor is behind the dash, so its dash out just to get to it. there were some threads about this before.
