Not sure if you've sorted shafts yet but on my Ph1 I changed to the 182 cup subframe, wishbones, ARB and the equal length shaft setup with centre bearing on the driver's side.
I bought brand new genuine Renault shafts that I still have, they've done minimal miles as I broke the car for spares...
For days out with two kids in child seats and a pram etc. I never had an issue with my Ph1.
But going on holidays and needing loads of bags etc on top would have been problematic.
Everyone's needs are different. Just a shame to see it go.
Yeah Ph2. Half tempted to make an offer although I suspect they're one of those people that will wait until it's worth a fortune even in a complete state.
Pallet shipping from the UK to you is an option. I've sent and engine to Germany before and it wasn't too expensive from memory. You just need to find a good engine and someone willing to strap it safely to a pallet.
I've had a 207bhp 900kg 172, 310bhp 1100kg MK2 Mégane and a standard MK4 220 Trophy.
They're all good cars but the Mégane was probably the best all rounder. I've driven a MK3 Mégane too, very capable but I preferred the rawness of the MK2.
