    172 Catalytic Converter Value?

It's palladium not stainless. Wouldn't get £50 for one around here. I had to cut up my ph1 cat into two separate ones to get £40, otherwise the scrappy would have given me £20 for the whole thing.

    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

Despite the fact its up for sale I'll be carrying on with some parts of it. Otherwise I'll have bits just sitting around :tongueout: So I had a parcel this morning, I knew what it was which is why I didn't go into work for some overtime! Such excite! Before trying them out I weighed the bell...

Cub's Flamer - Supercharged, Cage etc

Willys are et35 iirc. Awesome news Herr Cubington :D looking forward to pictures. Pro race 3 have more calliper clearance than 1.2s. At least it seems so from looking at Auckys wheels on the oulton track day.

    French Boost Project

Looks a tidy install, nice one! Could you turn the filter so it goes in front of the battery or behind the headlight and get air to it with a CAF?

    Thought I'd share....

If you want a car to race this year you could always buy mine!

    B-shaw’s PH1 Exclusive

You could run them for a while without a remap. I'd just keep it under 4k rpm. I ran mine with cams on an rs tuner map, afr was perfect, the only thing a custom remap allowed was more spark advance and fuel to suit which gave more power and torque.

    B-shaw’s PH1 Exclusive

You can do them later on ;) but in all honesty you may as well do cams otherwise if you want to do them at a later date you're paying for belts again. Dephaser is a must do when doing the belts around that mileage. I'd go for the Bilstein B14 coilovers that are around the £500 from Germany...

    B-shaw’s PH1 Exclusive

Where are you having the belts done? It'll be worth doing the dephaser (£150) at the same time. Then it makes sense to change the cams (£300ish) and get a remap (£300ish) whilst you're at it.

    Ktec Throttle Bodies and Gen90

IMO that's where most of the gains come from as the majority of ITB users have cams as well. A cheaper option for you would be to fit the RS2 inlet manifold and get a remap. On a standard engine the gains are pretty similar if you go to someone like Mike Woodford.

They feel worth it when you're 'on it' on track or having a good drive on some epic roads. I would however recommend fitting a pair of piper 285 or catcams 421 at the same time to really make the most of them.

Cub's Flamer - Supercharged, Cage etc

I'll pm you dude. Fair play, they probably know what they're doing! Once the salt has cleared I'll get it back out there. If it sells before then so be it but I had some very good news today. I had a settlement notice through from some work we had done a while back so it makes selling it less...

Get some stainless brake pad pins  6.3 sounds like a lot? I took bang on 5mm off and the pads sit just where the radius starts on the edge of the disc. Any more would have been too much.

    Ktec Throttle Bodies and Gen90

I bought the kit, the software and dongle was about £150 extra. Not sure on the breather on the ph2! As for aircon I'm sure I've seen itbs with aircon. It might be the at power ones though.

The everlasting ph1 ITB Build **GREEN-BUILD STARTS AT PAGE 100**

Halfords professional small car cover fits and does a good job, doesn't scratch as its nice and soft. Fully waterprrof and breathable. About £50 I paid for mine brand new.

Annoying clonking/rattling with 172 ktec stealth exhaust

Replace all the engine mounts including the dog bone. As above, standard for a road car or uprated for fast road/track. Powerflex/Evol do the dog bone and vibratechnics/ktec do the engine mounts.

    6 Speed Gear Box/Longer 5th to 182

As Mark has said, fit the Ph1 box. You get a 3.89 final drive instead of the 4.07. It'll make it sit around 3000rpm at 70mpg with 205/45/16 tyres. The 5th gear in there is already quite tall because the final drive is fairly short. You could find an even longer final drive from a diesel box (or...

    Ktec Throttle Bodies and Gen90

I think it's a good kit, it's easy to fit and setup. I had a but of help over the phone from Sean at ktec and it ran well enough to drive to mapping. If you buy the kit with the software and key/dongle you can take it anywhere to map it. I put the software on my laptop and gave my mapper the...

What's the biggest size wheels can I use for my Clio

They look like 16s. You can fit them with a few different tyre sizes. 195-205 width. 45-50 profile. i.e 195/45/16, 195/50/16 or 205/45/16. What suspension is on the car? Is it standard? Do you intend to lower it at all?

    ITB'd Road & Track Ph1 Titanium 172

The reason is we are outgrowing our house, and it either needs a loft conversion and an extension or we rent it out and buy a second house. It's due a remortgage at the end of the year and I want to be in a position to make a decision either way then. So to get our current house ready we need to...

    Difference between itb trumpet sizes

You can fit the 90s and see how much space you have with the carbon bonnet and see if there's room for a filter. Ideally you have about 20mm clearance between the end of the trumpets and the inside of the filter and 20mm from the outside of the filter (in front of the trumpets) to the inside of...
