Can you not see how the old one is fitted?
There are just 2 large black screws at the top fixing into the slam panel, 2 push fit clips above the diamond and the bottom off the grill just has plastic clips holding it to the top of the bumper. Undo the 2 top screws and gently push the...
Euro Car Parts sell complete headlights that look and fit the same as OE's and a lot cheaper also with black or grey inserts. Not sure if they do Xenon versions.
They are bigger than that I'm sure M14? on a 172 Cup. You looking at the right bolts? The ones at the bottom of the strut under the spring pan and theres 2 off them.
If the car is off the road whilst you are doing other things then Save weight and cut & plug the pipe close to the plenum/top part of inlet manifold & cut the pipe back towards the tank. Thats the best way.
And why aren't you at the Briskoda meet at Castle Coombe in April? I'm there but...
The layout in Part 14 is exactly what you have on your car. If you follow the 2 black pipes from the Carbon Canister, you will see one go to the left hand side of the Plenum chamber (Which is the top part of the inlet manifold. The other goes under the car floorpan to the fuel tank. You can...
Easiest thing to do is cut the 2 pipes cleanly and join them together, the valve in the top of the cannister just pulls off, leave the 2 wires connected to valve and zip tie them to something solid, if you leave the wires undone you'll get the emmision light on.
Wheel nuts? Are you tourquing the bolts up properly? are they OE? This shouldn't happen on a car at all. The only time any of mine come loose is when on a trackday due to the bolts heating and cooling.
For a track car a PH1 172 or Ph2 172 or Cup will be good for a trackday motor, find one without aircon, healthy engine, gearbox and fix the other bits yourself. Plenty available.
The reason why many Cliosport members use Eibach springs is because they ARE good. When you take off the old oe ones you will see how cheaply made they are. I guess you have already noticed how hard and crashy the oe sprins are, new ones will be worse. Try the Eibach Prolines, they are good...
You might just as well overhaul the whole braking system while your at it, new fluid pads & discs. Change the fluid as Clouder describes. It will be a day well spent.
