Did you try, Quinn Direct? they are normally pretty good for 1st yr drivers. Well they were the cheapest for me for my first year, and best of all they allow any modification aslong as you dont touch the engine. i was only 3rd prty fire n theft, and it was £1400 for my 98 reg 1.2 clio.

When my old 1.2 clio hit 60k it went down hill big time, brakes, bearings, exhaust, engine mounts, sub frame falling apart, re-tuning/timing. So glad i got my new one!

Quinn direct, you can have any modification without ur insurance going up, but no engine mods! thats who im with atm.

I would like to know about sport cats, im toying with the idea for my 1.2. all i know is that they have 1/2 the number of cells in them so that flow is increased, how much by i dont know. also would it pass a MOT test, as emissions will increase?

Well i got it in the end, as it was from a 2001 172 and it also didnt have any cutouts where the exhausts would be. if it is gold then i'll just sell it! now need to find a company to make me a 182 rep exhaust! Cheers for all ur info guys!!

I think i'll get some RS replica side skirts then, and get the front bumper when funds permit. i think i might do what Jim did and make it fit the 1.2 wings.

will 172 side skirts fit my 1.2? i know length will be the same but will they stick out at the front as i wont have the RS wings? Oh also how much would it cost roughly to colour code my side strips?

I have a 1.2 clio, have found a 172 rear bumper so that i can upgrade looks wise. my car is pearl black, are 172 rear bumpers black pearl or black gold? or both? If i were to get it and it was black gold would it look odd on a car thats pearl in colour? cheers Alex.

ok so i have a black 1.2 rush, been looking around for alloys as i have standard steelies with trims on ATM. seen these, they are Rota Cups in black gloss, with polished dish and rim. think these will look any good? anyone photoshop this...
