I have a euro car parts one. Been on since august '17 and have been absolutely fine. Still looks clean and white even now. Think I paid £15? Just make sure you keep the original lid and use that as the ecp one isn't as good.
Welcome mate.
Car does look a nice base to start with. Dont think you can go wrong with RB either. Dont know anybody that doesnt like it.
And who cares about midlife crisis. If you enjoy it, then game on! Why should we stop having fun with things we like just because were getting older. Take...
Amazing work and updates mate.
This is how things should be done and many, including myself, should/will take inspiration from this.
Loving the little extras too such sound deadening the rear seat bench and fabric taping the rear sub wires.
It's a perfect spec'd daily car and certainly will...
@joe hk&uk no machine polisher at all. All I used was a red scotch pad and scuff stuff for the center pipe and rear of the back box. Scuff stuff is good as it helps the pad slide and gives it a bit more key, without being too harsh. We had some at work so used this. I did this because it...
Yours looks tidy mate. Really clean.
Agree with @Cookson though, that the silver OE wheels doesnt quite work on RB. If they was anthracite, then its different. I think the RB posted with the black wheels was a chap who's forum name was Pritchard or Pritchard182 from memory? Always thought that...
What one have you got @frayz as i was looking at getting pressure washer too. I use the farmers one (which is superb) when I take my stuff to work but if I'm at home then I take my buckets and equipment to the local garage. I was looking at Nilfisk ones so I dont have to keep asking the farmer.
As above.
Mine is a replica and came on the car when I bought it, although mine does look slightly larger than normal. Trophy ones are obviously more money too.
@RSPez
So I have the standard with powerflex mount on the left, the BTM bracket with mount (Toyota one in Frayz's link) on the right and the OE standard bracket and mount at the rear, with with only 1 mount on the right hand side.
Thanks mate! Yes, I'm very happy with it. Build quality, sound, looks, it ticks all my boxes. Will keep the sports cat in too. Curious to see what it sounds like decatted, but as I like it as it is, that's £50 - £70 that doesnt really need to be spent.
Thanks Pez.
Well I know @frayz Looked...
All went well with the BTM deal and i picked it up on the Saturday as mentioned. Is it great condition and just needed a little polish up. Oddly, a few days before i saw this for sale, i bought a powerflex exhaust mount off @midge for my ktec as i thought it might help it sitting central as it...
@Nik did you set up a thread so that photos can be uploaded throughout the year, rather than just when the calender is being produced? I remember there being talks of it.
Yeah, can only echo above. Looks clean and nice to see maintenance things done to keep on top of it.
Good work mate.
Also, the splitter makes such a difference 👍
I paid £23 delivered so I'd give it a go for that. As said, I thought I'd have to just jetwash it off and that was that, but washing is still a must. It's better than having no product so that's a good thing. Feels different to wax too, so maybe that's why I was comparing. I've done it now and...
