    the trick is your using less revs to get the same performance which is going to give you better mpg which is why mine shot up about 5mpg on average daily driving, if you give it limiter every gear then yes your going to use more fuel as your turbos giving you more air!

    lol maby if youve had 4 kids! if youve driven any of the other non RS clios and know the issue with engine/gearstick movement then try a 100, but really you need a good long test drive with the box to really appreciate it

    reliability is much the same, they are the same basic engine, same fuel pump, same injectors just a different turbo and more fuel pressure for the 100

    the problem with a 100 is if you find one you need to take what ever colour and spec you can get although same can be said for the 80 but not as extreme i was just lucky i got black with climate, electric sunroof and cd changer which is what i wanted

    if you can find a 100 then they are deffo worth the extra premium, 80 is a nice compromise though, 100 is a lot better to drive though due to the 4th engine mount and hydraulic clutch

    yeah the vag cars seem to be fine with big power hikes! my old 172 made 173bhp standard and my new one isnt a million miles away from it but yeah 150bhp dci would be a match for one anyway, they wont do the same top speed though unless you can get a 6th cog on it!

    ideal for day to day driving when you cant be bothered putting in any effort driving quick, i just sink the boot in 5th gear from 40mph and your pulling back in from an overtake at 110+ still in the same gear, ideal for lazy people lol

    its just torque and a different power delivery, my mate has a remapped fabia VRS which felt twice as quick as my 172 did, turned out their wasnt anything in it the 172 just edged forward a bit

    i didnt do mine on my old car and it was coming up for 7yrs and 50k but its just a gamble you take, some phase 1s out there are on original belts at 10yrs old and others snap their belts before they are due its just a gamble really, we had a mk3 1.2 16v that snapped a belt at 2yrs and 60k
