cheers mate will do, i know their was a bit of movement but i just dont remember it being quite like this, its not that its bad just not 100% it did have powerflex lower bushes before though so maby i was just used to that piece of s**t.
dont fit the plug holes as well as the standard leads i also noticed that when fitting some for my mate. they do look pretty but the renault ones are expensive for a reason
changed all 4 engine mounts on my 172 on tuesday with new genuine ones, but there still seems to be a bit of movement when slowing down at junctions or roundabouts as if the engine has chugged a bit or if you give it full throttle at low revs to go for a gap at a roundabout theres movement.
i...
i done the 4 mounts on tuesday on my car, part numbers and prices at trade price....

not true it will be fine
only need an adaptor if you want to use the screen and steering controls
i needed a little ariel adaptor for my old pioneer one, dont know about others (think it was a pc97 or something along those lines)
In my experiance from having a play with few uk wrx's they have plenty grip and power to pull them out the bends but the clio appears to be able to corner just as quick if not quicker, and straight line there isnt much in it, impreza slightly quicker on the newer models.
my mate sold his 172...
it tries to kill me mid corner when ive forgot to switch it off!!
your flying towards a bend big smile on your face ready for it and just as you enter it the noise of the exhaust dissapears and the disco light flashes
since refitting my acustic valve i could swear the car apears to have gained torque midrange, but its possibly all in my head, its getting better mpg with it fitted too! ill be leaving it on
depends how bad the original one is, some gain up to 10bhp iirc but some gain hardly anything, what year is the car? less gains to be had if it has the RS stamped manifold
coilovered cars dont handle as well as standard on your average uk roads if they are really low so depends how low you were thinking? (thats my experiance with FK's never used the likes of H&R)
agree with that ^ the clio is a drivers car, starlet is more of a toy tbh.
they are reliable when modded properly, but some people just up the boost and dont do any other mods to support it!
but neither is a glanza! they are limited to 110ish iirc too? not hard to remove though.
my mate had a standard gtt, lighter than a glanza and no boost limiter in first and second gear like the glanza and my standard 172 was much faster, starlets are cheap-ish to tune though to a certain...
