Surely it would be easier, quicker, and considerably cheaper to just vinyl wrap your Trophy in any colour you want? When you're done, remove wrap and you can sell your (easy to sell) standard Trophy.
Heading up a bit of dual carriageway to see the outside lane blocked off by a police van. As a i pass, what looked like an unscathed silver 172 was on a low loader near another car and unmarked Fiesta police car. I didn't see the front, so could have been a crash (there is a junction at the...
Calls it a RS but its an ST?!
Your mate should let his car run out after the apex, he doesn't use any of the track! Lucky he is in a pony FWD, 'cos he'd be in the barriers in anything else.
Bloody love Oulton, can't wait to go back.
I can't believe this sold for under £11k, madness! How many were sold in the UK; surely they will go up in value?

Give a s**t...
Why not just do a nice thread on Cliosport and save me £4.30. They do bloody papers for free you know, hand them out to you as well. Four Pound Thirty! Jesus.
Extreme was generously specced, Extreme 2 and 3 were bargain basement for the student market. I think the latter are based on the Authentique rather than the Dynamique.
Sadly no sound at work, so will check again later. Is intensely irritating seeing these American kids in brand new modified cars though, where the fcuk do they get the money from?
So is the 'Cup' Extreme? I.E. an Extreme 3? I like the front bumper on those, the foglight look taken from the Megane RS is really cool.
I had the first Extreme, which came with the green seats and badges on the B Pillars. You got alloys as standard, mine even had climate control. Boo-yah.
I actually think it looks OK, but would work as a look much better on a nicely done 1*2 rather than a 1.2 with painted drums and dice for valve covers...
At the end of the day it is vinyl, the lad can always take it off.
Stop copying and pasting from SELOC you lazy cnut! ;)
Looks so much better without a plate doesn't it? Be brave!
Glad to see you're enjoying it. Mine is running like a bag of nails ATM. Shipped it over to Dijon to drive from Hotel to Circuit and i swear it has about 90bhp LOL. Tried...
How about this though, i was called to the stewards and given a bollarking for passing under yellows. The car in question had spun in front of me. What i was i meant to do, stop dead and wait for him to carry on? lol...
Fair enough if they were being waved...no excuse. The crash was ultimately down to bad driving; you can see he is turning whilst on the (raised) kerb. Any fraction of a lift in a FWD like that and the Craners will result in a crash. Bad luck for the Clio anyway... had it spun or did it have...
It depends on the scenario, but its just that if you're in real tussle you are not going to give up X amount of seconds gained over the course of a race just to lose it by lifting off thanks to some clown shoe stuffing it. If you're not competing for a position, then i suppose you would be more...
You talking about the Clio or the 106? The 106 clearly rode too much kerb, poor driving. However, i would rarely lift for a yellow flag and i doubt many would. Waved yellows, fair enough...
My god, the underneath of it. I suppose it should come as a no surprise. No idea what was going on in your head when it came to buying those seats though...
I like how they fit in with the rest of the interior. Seamless.
They certainly do mess about. All their cars tend to have massive power and they actually use them! A lot of stuff in the US looks great, and may have good power, but they are garage queens in the main. The most they do is Time Attack, which is pathetic 2 lap runs.
To be fair, i suppose if you got a brand new normal Type R and modified it properly you could say it would cost up to £35k...
I personally don't have a problem paying for rarity. I just wouldn't turn up in one on a track day, to get destroyed by cars costing quite a bit less in my 'hardcore'...
