nice work, just one quikc point though have you thought about lateral loading on those tank straps? the tank when full under heavy cornering is going to want to slide from side to side
personally i'd weld some little upright plates to the boot floor either side for it to slot into before being...
ai don't go 4x4 or MPV etc as they have the aero of a brick so day to day economy will be awful, stick with estates, lower drag and slightly less weight so you'll see better mpg. real world though larger cars are nearly always s**t!lol!

how do you get on with the scoop? mate of mine fitted same one recently and it just hums and whistles loudly all the time with the airflow, really really off putting

I jack on the chassis rail further back slightly so there is enough space for an axle stand on the rail too in front of the jack once I'm at height I need
I run well scrubbed ps3's on the track car for wets, they are mega, did a day at Mallory and they were ideal in the torrential rain and about 6 degree temps.
they need some time to bed in is the point

Got the car back, gave her a clean and although I won't do anything over winter the headlights desperately need a restore as they're hideous and the offside arch rust is getting worse so that'll need to be addressed in the new year. However having just clicked 174k she's still holding up okay...
