I think it's just poor choice of words, he probably just meant they're better suited for track use on lighter cars like the caterhams where as cars 700kg + need a harsher compound, and tried to make it sound more technical lol

They go on for practically ever after they start making a racket. However their job is pretty important as they adjust the timing via oil pressure, pretty clever bit of kit tbh even if it is random as f**k You don't really want it failing put it that way

Only thing I'd do to that is fit the original airbox back on. It's nice to see standard ones now and again Flat as f**k to drive and probably drives as straight as the boot crease you've not found yet but nice all the same (kidding on the last bit a little)
