wtf can no one get insured on 172s on this place? i pay £500 a year @ 21 fully comp on my ph1 and have had a 172 since 17

ebc greenstuff are ok if the standard pads already fill your needs but you want hardly any dust, i run them all round on my runabouts to save my wheels. would never use them for proper driving though, tried that on my old ph2 and nearly died a few times

bought my ph2 172 at 17, now got my ph1 at 22

standard airbox on both, ph2 is running itg pannel the ph1 running a ph1 box with pipercross race pannel ph2 running a 182 manifold too

could possibly be the UCH but other things to try would be the battery or earth point

they are mint, gold looks abit funny but i bet a dark bronze would be mint!

ph1 ftw weighs about the same as my baws after ive hosed my bird, and it has aircon

loud exhausts should be saved for performance cars, id feel like a tit if i could go back to my 1.2 with loud system!

cheers, interior is standard other than a retrim of the wheel from the guy on here that does them and a Cabasse head unit from a 182, Dynamique/RS silver interior handles and the interior grab handles resprayed iceberg silver

since you asked!... Only thing that lets it down is the drivers mat is a bit tatty, if anyone has an imaculate one i will buy them a brand new set of RS mats for their ph1 set as you can no longer buy the blue ones brand new

need to drive like a homo to get over 40mpg in a 1.2 though, i spend most of my day at the naughty side of a tonne in the GT and average 55mpg

if it was my car and a full aux belt kit was fitted last year then yes id just stick a new belt on it.

just a cambelt kit and a alternator belt, theres no tensioner on alternator

id loose the strut brace and keep the aircon, at least the aircon does something ;)

same colour as the car if you insist in fitting it, id rather save the weight though!

what crawled up your arse and died? it may not be to everyones taste but its clean and low miles, an ideal starting point if your looking for one!

you can sit in your car, usually the carpark at the end of the back straight is open for spectating its a pretty good spot either that or the one at the start of the main straight, in that one your close to the pits etc that you can walk about in and chat to ppl etc!

yep thats about right, not enough air too much fuel. cant beleive how slow it would be, my 65 was murder when i blew a boost pipe off
