That ktr one looks like a nice piece of kit, I've just got a good condition OE Renault one, new fitting kit/gasket and engine mounts for mine as the flexi has gone, but I'm tempted to order the ktr, assume a remap is required due to a flat spot after it?
if you get under it when its first started in the morning you should be able to see the condensation dripping out the part its blowing from, give you a better idea where its coming from

purely as an investment then the Clio, trophy or not is not the car to go after. But to enjoy owning something that you wont lose any money on and will probably gain a little, then not a bad move

just clean them, and the prongs on the indicator unit with a small bit of sand paper, worse case scenario cut them off, strip back the wire and put some new ones on from an electrical shop/Halfords etc
