Entertaining vid! Good work getting back up the field, but a shame you didn't get a run at the leaders.
Silverstone has a completely different dry/wet line though...and you are brave touching the white lines, let alone the kerbs in that weather!
Favourite bit for me is the workshop! Don't think the matt black suits it, sits far too high and the tints makes it look like a van. It's just not my sort of car, but i think it looks best in the crazy green.
Are you serious? They're launching an SUV style Mini, and you can't work out why they're using it as a rally car?
Out of choice they'd always use a 5 door shell as it's stiffer. As has been said, Prodrive reckoned it had perfect dimensions for a WRC car. I think it looks ridiculous, personally.
Cool, nice to see a bit of on board action. It's really difficult to describe how difficult it is racing at night, especially at a wide, featureless circuit like Silverstone.
Did the 'recession' 6 hour version last year. Would have won class if it wasn't for a stop go penalty and mishap...
So you have more camber at the rear? Not uncommon though, plenty of examples in the JDM and German thread. Defo need to equal up the front though...
Reckon your car would look best with a dirty big exhaust pointing at an angle!
Wouldn't have swapped a Vee for one personally.
I think with the advent of hot hatches in lurid colours and vinyl stickers, the GP doesn't look as 'out there' as it did when first out. I fail to see the point in having a two seater hatch but i appreciate it will be a lot of fun. But then so...
You could get your mum or dad to start a fresh policy, with you as a named driver. It is technically illegal if you do the majority of the driving though.
How old are you? £2500 for an old 1.4 shitter! Having a giraffe.
Otherwise, do the policy through someone else. Have you tried adding your mum/sister/aunt/any female to your policy?
They are good looking cars but the fact there are about five in my work car park makes them dissolve into the background to me. I'd have to modify it, just so it looked different to all of the others.
I think for MOT purposes you cannot have a tyre going outside of the arch. You could just fit a narrower/higher offset wheel to get through an MOT though...
They are Spoon arches.

With respect, you should have known about the tyres and servicing issue...i always have a good ol' haggle regarding those two items. Thing is, you only paid £3600 for the car? Like Ali said, high mileage cars are going to have their issues, especially French ones. To be fair, doesn't mean you're...
I think it's more to do with those Action Days and the brainless idiots that attend them. I haven't seen any crashes at quarry myself, normally it's on the last corner as it requires a bit of commitment with no run off.
