Unless you have money to burn I'd get a 172 Cup....the best option for the money...especially as you plan on doing RS Track days. The meggy or vee would be too expensive to get track insurance and be slower to boot....
I've been considering this Dan but tbh the only thing that would be worth swapping for would be a k20/b20 eg / ek civic imo which are like hen's teeth.....
optimum shift is a fraction of a second before the limiter kicks in...peak power is virtually irrellevant on a 16v engine....you want to take it as close to the limiter as you can without hitting it.
Taking it to the peak power point is all good but do you think your car is just as fast in 3rd...
