its like naples in the mk1, a bit pants but can look okay with the right light, but loads of other colours i'd rather have, like pretty much all of them!lol!
I need the wiring for the mk1 track car is basically the reason! and wheels are not for sale am afraid, the silvers that came off the car however are, pm for details ;)
Thanks to daveski for a simple purchase
plans as such are sort of brutal, its in line for death unfortunately, however for now I'm having a run about in it and enjoying a bit of phase 1 love!
in the short term I think I'm going to put some new plates on it (when dave drops them tomorrow...hint...
I see an inferno 182, a silver 197, an RB 200 and an iceberg 172 phase 2 every morning on the way to work, no phase 1's though unless I run into Mark out and about in his titanium.
just fill it up to the top and see how many miles you get from a full tank before the light comes on, that will give a better idea

love the wording, "we are informed by the owner that the car is being exercised every couple of months on a private road"
its not a f**king horse, its a bloody car ffs
good purchase mate, give Danny a shout, him and some of the other lads up Sutton have started Green laneing a bit, it gets messy he's already ripped a sill off his vitari!lol!
could be lambda sensor, that controls idle etc
could also be a kippered injector, need to check your plugs, if one is covered in soot and the rest are fine, its an injector thats fubar
jack car up, clean up area and inspect for where the leak is 100% coming from. if nothing obvious run up the road and back then check again. if still nothing, get the box oil warm on a longer drive again
if your 100% satisfied its that area for the leak then the seal may be unseated or simply...
yes, if you supply the parts then perhaps so, however the OP has just handed an engine over and the builder is supplying the parts, that seems to be the impression I'm getting
to supply your own parts shows a level of knowledge above the layman's; and an interest in the process, so knowledge...
