Re: E36 v2
broken bottom ends work better than good nick ones, fact, turbo ran better than it ever did with cracked block and warped head, pulled like a train!lol!
standard exhaust is usually one piece, so needs to be chopped in the right place and then simply sleeve the miltek as you suggest
however for the price of a centre section, I'd just get one bought or made up from cat back to suite tbh, why do half a job?!
as above, buyers market so should be able to find a good one for your budget (whatever it may be) if you shop about
if the belts are serviced as they should be there is no need for a 'plate' hence no ones ever bothered!
end of the day then chap, if he can afford it and if you fall out over a grand max if it breaks then I'd be more worried about your brotherly love tbh!lol! family is family, they forgive and forget or they aint family!
I'd understand the issue if it was a 10 grand car or something, but its a grand, in the great scheme of things a grand is sod all! and if the usual argument of 'a grand is a lot of money to some people' I would suggest he's overs stretching to run and insure a Clio sport then and shouldn't even...
love it, sounds a right animal
rofl at the Wazza in you, god knows how many grand brand new merc, but still up the local industrial estate for pics after its first wash! :)
to be fair if I was going to buy a new yawn mobile for loads of grands to watch them all disappear over the first year of ownership as it depreciated into a worthless pile, you could do worse than the fezz ;)
