the blocks are actually much of a muchness I've not seen much variation in temps with different brands. Key is to have the shortest route possible and to have as big a radiator as you can muster in the case ;)
Theres no real science to it tbh, even if you **** it up it'll be better than air...
Chipset cooling is OTT as far as water goes, especially for someone who's starting out lol. Unless you plan on doing some hefty overclocking, and even then you rarely get temps high enough with passive coolers. Apart from the new x79 boards, having serious issues dispatching heat for the MOSFET...
Soooo much choice mate. Id suggest one of the kits available as a first timer. Maybe the HKS one? Or one of. Realistic price, I'd say anywhere in the region of 200-300 for a decent setup
Not taking that risk and going for the ASUS Sabortooth. I've always been an ASUS fan, it was only up until my last LGA1366 board which was Gigabyte, and turned out to be trouble free - so thought I'd go with them again. Turns out that was a bad move. :(
Gigabyte IMO are talking out of their...
Well gigabyte are recalling 3 of their 4 x79 boards due to cheap voltage regulating components which can cause the board to more or leas catch fire lol. There's a bios which helps by down clocking when extreme stress is detected. Which is s**t obviously... Back to scan it goes
I thought for a minute it was a valver from the first pic lol. Spec savers...
Best pub talk car paint ever - "What colour is your car?" It's dragon green
Battlefield 3 for me, but it's down to your play style. Definitely one of the two out of MW3 and that. Saints although fun won't get you anywhere near the same amount of hours
I get the impression you're properly s**t at games. lol
You'll need the balancing tool which can't be all that expensive. If it needs a remap anyway I'd let the tuner do it and save you the agro. Personally I've never had to do it myself yet
well once you've set open and closed throttle I wouldn't change much else, it sounds like they need a good balance so they'll need looking at anyway. Worth a shot tho

That should do it
Here is the instructions for the software: http://www.omextechnology.co.uk/MAP3000 1.00 instructions r1.pdf

If you've got the right serial cable, it's pin to pin which is called a RS232 extention cable, then just download map3000 from the Omex site, tis free. Can see what the TPS is doing and just have to set closed /open throttle. (see page 6 in the manual)
lol it's ok, not really an argument. It's a lot easier just not to bother these days I'll give you that... I've done it occasionally especially when the 360 was newer, but I like to tweak... the customisation and modding community give games that extra value that you just don't see on consoles...
