I gave it a service this weekend, god knows when it was last done and as its been behaving itself i thought it was worth it. Ordered the parts from @renaultpartsdirect which arrived promptly as always 👍.
The cabin filter and air filter weren't that bad, but why would they be when the cars not...
My clutch was heavy but never had any problem with how it worked. Was a pain if in atraggic jam for a while. I only fitted a new one because I had the gearbox off and yeah now it's noticeably lighter but I could have happily carried on with the old one. A little assiatance wouldn't have hurt.
I think a 182 would make a much better track car, a black gold one specifically would be an excellent choice 👍😂.
I'll try to remember to message you next time we're off to the motorist mate.
I
It is good that's its free to get in, they probably make a lot more in the cafe than you think otherwise what's the point in building it if it won't make money? When we first went thee was half the tarmac area thats there now, now they have the tarmac for super cars, the gravel for nice cars...
The butties are very expensive😂. They do service and resto on classic cars and sell the odd one every now and then too. It was a real garage before all this cars and coffee stuff got popular. I guess it's so popular that banks are willing to loan for facilities to accommodate the growing crowds...
It's always a decent turn out there when it's sunny. As Steve says it's expanded massively since we first started going a while back. The bloody noisy planes spoil it though. @Matthew 👎😆.
Which is why imo chargers in car parks or dedicated forecourts aren't the answer. Kerbside chargers would be a much more useful development for cities, cheap ass trickle chargers you can leave on while you're shopping, at work or in your flat. The rush to get it out there means we've ended up...
So much information in the article🙄.
The 5 Prototype city car will be a key part of Renault’s push for 30% of its sales to be of electric vehicles by 2025
So it seems it will be on sale before 2025 and it is indeed designed as a city car not a long distance gt. 👍
I didn't get why people think they need an EV that will do 500 mile between charges. If you do that many miles a day then an EV just isn't right for you at the moment, otherwise just plug it in at home and if you're doing an unusually long trip just plan a bit better. If renault can sell that...
I expect if you go to a renault dealer and say its not got enough range they will point at the megane and say buy that then. It is a city car after all.
Company boss Luca de Meo said the use of the new platform and revamped battery tech will enable the firm to sell the 5 for about 33% less than...
I bought a spare pair of used hubs for £120 and a pair of ball joints from Kam were the same £. I only did one side for the mot but I think the other needs doing too. Stupid car 😩.
Washed it today after wrapping the top of the spoiler. That was my 2nd attempt at wrapping it, its not an easy thing to do on something as curvy as that bgw. It still looks s**t but not quite as s**t as the cracked paint did.
If you're unable to complete the purchase then I guess you'll have to take the advice here and push for your deposit back. Or if they will wait a while longer then you need to push for it removing from sale. Like you say, it looks like a decent car besides the decat and resulting dodgy mot.
Let's hope it is a good car because I suspect any issues and the dealer will become a grade A pain very quickly. Ask for a cat fitting and an mot at kwikfit and see how willing they are.
That sounds familiar for some reason🤔. Got a link to the advert? Obviously if it's decatted then that does raise concerns about the mot but doesn't mean it's the worst car on the market. For that price though I'd want them to be supplying it with a cat fitted and an mot from somewhere like...
