I’ve never at any point found 1*2’s ‘reasonable’ to insure. Probably a lot to do with how many have been written off but even at that, its still a rip off. Last year i was £450 for a Golf R with 8 points.

I don’t think the clutch/mileage will have any problems tbh. Stage 1 runs sweet as a nut on these engines?

Nice car mate. Not keen on the two tone leather but the exterior paint is lovely, rare too. Unsure if it was mentioned already but its worth changing the cam follower on the high pressure fuel pump. An hours job and especially essential if you’re mapping it.

Surprised about folk saying the 8v RS3 being rare, i’ve seen about 6/7 in the last month i reckon. M4’s again, seen quite a few. Would be the RS3 for me.
