As above, the 200 makes a strange noise after accelerating fairly hard, sounds like its coming from the offside front, with every rotation of the wheel like a metallic sound (sorry for how vague that sounds!) Seems to go away after a few minutes which is even stranger!
I’ll get the car booked...
Theres a rattle coming from underneath, the heat shield just above the diffuser/beam is missing one of those weird clips they use - the thread is exposed so i’m thinking i may be able to get a nut and washer on it? Anyone any idea what nut size is required?
I’ve had all variants of the 172/182 and now a 200. The 200 feels a lot more grown up and planted although heavier maybe not as nimble, all are fantastic in their own right but have their gripes respectively.
I wouldn’t be buying one as an investment unless it was a seriously immaculate 172 Cup...
So the wheels were the only part of the car letting it down cosmetically, i got them done by a friend who has a lot of experience in wheel painting (Archlight Restorations), will let the pictures do the talking!
Back to satin black - centre caps matched also!
Absolutely mega that, probably my favourite car on the forum.
On the topic of selling in the USA, a lad in Scotland has agreed a sale for an R34 in bayside blue for north of 350k i’m told for when it turns 25. These maniacs across the pond are actually queuing up to pay it it seems. Mad b******s.
I would pay handsome amounts of money to be able to hear the conversations the guys in the work shop when they see this b*****d dock once again in their workshop🤣🤣
Fair play David mate - i understand they don’t run worth a f**k on the normal unleaded! I’ve always used the good stuff!
I’ve got all the above to check but from a quick check the MAF sensor has been cable tied already!
Thank you mate! I really am made up with it despite its RenaultSport faults - as you’ll know yourself, you learn to love them for their flaws and brilliance as a package lol
Aye i’ve actually done the photo taking thing before for exactly that reason!
I’ll get the PCV whipped off and cleaned and see what sort of position the sensors sitting at. I actually enjoy these small jobs!
Tempted to get it on a dyno to see where its at. Properly enjoying the 200, cliche as...
Thank you mate! I’ll get one ordered and get it swapped out - remember having to do a couple on the 1*2’s i had and that was a piss case! Do they not require bleeding then afterwards?
Also, the PCV, whats my best options regarding clea
From memory only the genuine ones were good enough on the...
