Got a missus? Make a day of it whilst your cars being sorted.
The difference between a timed engine and one that is not is unreal, get a specialist to do it.
172's are ten a penny, RB5's are not! Has it got the PPP pack on it? (Any more pics lol?)
If you turbo/super charge the Clio, it will cost a fortune, and it will break. If you've got a Dimma to play with, keep the Impreza.
Its just not a car i'd consider spending less than at least 4.5k on bud, of the RS range, they're likely to be the most neglected due to how few are about and being owned by non enthusiasts.

Its not a car you want to be looking at the lower end of the scale on
Cambelt job is £500 which i'd expect needing done or has never been done. The hub assembly is a complete c**t and costly, window regulators again another common fault.

Window regulators fucked.
Takes 25 minutes to replace, the hardest part being pulling the plastic door card away with the tiger seal. Don't pay more than £20 for a replacement.
Not at all mate, it'll handle better on smaller wheels and tyres are no doubt cheaper tyres, that said, if you're going to change for 15's, the Oz F1's are the go to wheel. Although i'd imagine parts are few and far between in Aus?
I've not actually passed his house in a while but aye theres a good chance of it. He used to have a dark blue one what looked okay but that was years ago!
Agreed. Theres a guy in Canada that uses hos R8 every single day of the year, i believe its on well over 100k also.
Of the super cars, it strikes me as the friendliest to use!
