uprated injectors, uprated clutch, 2.5" exhaust system with 2.5" cat and downpipe and a remap would see decent gains but cost a small fortune

lol they take their speedo reading add 5mph onto it and then boast about it. i had a guy in an astra gsi talk to me about his mates "2 litre sport clio" which done 170mph when he fitted a miltek exhaust! where do i get one of those lol

they do about 100 if you get a massive run, dont let anyone tell you otherwise! your speedos wrong!

are the rear disks on the back of my dci the same as 172 ones? no one lists rear disks on the net when i select my model so i was just going to get 172 ones if they fit?

i had a shot of a 1.2 8v campus and would never go near one ever ever again! 60bhp petrol engine is horrible, however give me a 65bhp DCi any day and i will quite happily fly about in that!

dynamique spec one would keep up no problem in bends, not much in it straight line 8v 1.6 getting all its torque lower down unlike the 1.2 that needs hammered, so would need to be giving the 1.2 5700rpm changes also a VTS would rape one silly!!! my dci just keeps up with VTR's in a straight...

id say its actually a pretty easy conversion due to running the same box, ecu and similar lumps. however i will add this, if you have had never ending toubles with your gearbox and engine and suspension id be looking at your or maby the previous owners driving style.

im assuming the clio gt dci is the same engine in my dci100 but with a 6 speed box, personally as a mile muncher you wont find a better engine. BUT is it going to be as fun as a high reving 130bhp 1600 16v with VVT, is it f**k

for doing they miles it would have to be the clio GT in DCi form for me. if your not bothered about running costs then twingo!

had the DCi 100 mate but was in the carpark outside not in the CS stand :)

at 70mph in the dci100 i average 65mpg, so id think an 80 could get 60 at 80 doesnt sound too far off. the full way back from FCS to scotland i averaged 52mpg and didnt get much under 100 the full way back!
