The new corsa would be pants! The money you pay maintaining a 16v would be no-where near the depriciation on a new car. I you want something newer why not go for a 106 gti/306 gti-6?

Cupra R will be quicker than a 172 maybe not 0-60 but above that it will have the legs...of course it would be no contest if you chipped the Seat!:cool:

True^^ Dimma looks very 80s almost as bad as the 205 dimma iMO.

TBH honest fella I would sell it or maybe even break it for spares:o(might fetch more that way) sometimes a bumped car is never the same again..

The old Astra GTE digi dash is getting on a bit now and I think it looks crap...as far as I know there are no renaults with a digi dash as standard. Stack dashs are the nuts though....anyone wanna lend me 800 quid? lol

Yup the Maxi kit is the only kit worth having on a valver IMHO....do a search for pics of Colin_Ss car.... he has a valver with the kit.

No the sticker on the boot is slightly smaller than the side decals...

I traded in my saxo and paid 1800 there and then....Ive done loans and they suck, never again.

I know and TBH I know which Id rather have at the moment! Mines only a knats c**k quicker than a Cup even after throwing all that cash around....

Well sort of...its not mint, not really quick (IMHO) and reliable, well maybe reliableish would be more acccurate. I was expecting it to be around 6k but that really is a silly amount of money...I didnt think I could afford to spend that much in 18 months or so.

Er no....thats just the reciepts in my car folder, doesnt include the 5k I originally paid (well 1800 after trade in) and the 2200 Ive paid on insurance!

OMG!! I just added up all my reciepts for money spent on my car since I got it in May 2004.....I cant believe how much Ive spent!

Im wondering if the money I spend on maintaining my williams is as much as the depreciation on a 172/182....Ive been quite tempted to take out a loan a few times and treat myself to a Cup but Im not a great fan of being in debt...what do you reckon...Old car or new?
