Is anyone going to notice the difference?

I won't go into it, but why anyone outside (bar wanting inferno or RB) would want a 182 Cup over a normal one is beyond me. It's only 20kg's less in weight than a normal one so defeats the purpose of having one. If the normal 182 has a quarter of a tank of fuel and the Cup has three quarters...

I did think they looked short? The car doesn't sit particularly low though it sits really low when parked on a slope! The colour markings on them mean anything?

Looks okay that pal, like you say, as most are largely running with over due belts, even at £2500 its still not too bad. Personally I'd opt for a Mk2 RS that's been cherished, the prices have absolutely collapsed, finding a cherished one on here for a good price is as easy as getting your hole...

That OEM cup spoiler really does make a massive difference to the front end. The Skoda one looks absolutely PISH by comparison.
