Didn't have time to chat in the traffic as I was waiting for a call.
Not my neck of the woods either, but you made a lot of noise. :)
It was a 52 plate 172 Cup on dark 182 wheels, somewhere around J41/42.
Correct, I put non-cup ECU and UCH into my Cup and had not one single light or error. It fired up first time and has been spot on for nearly 2 years now.
I'd find someone with a code reader to see what the error is.
I swapped my UCH / ECU from a non-cup and had no issues.
There is a version number that matters though - it's on the UCH. I think mine was N3 or something like that, compare your two and see if they differ.
Also - there's a TCS light ?!
You can nip the aux belt up yourself, they do need to be a little tighter than other cars.
Twitchy under hard acceleration could be one of many things, mostly bush / tie rod related.
Toxic fume - never seen or heard that one!
Has anyone ever used these 4 pots to do their big brake conversion?
I have available to me, a full set of front (4 pots) and rear (2 pots) brembos from a VI GSR.
What's the likelihood of being able to use these both front and rear?
Looks like it's had paint/filler on the arch before?
As it's probably still straight underneath, could be turned into a track weapon on the cheap - obviously after many hours of tcut. @Knuckles
So.. what do we think my 172 Cup is worth?
