I think the Williams 3 in the link is definatly overpriced I just wouldnt buy a williams with aftermarket wheels on anyway! 80k and modified ...Id say 3.5k would be a fair price.
Already ahead of the game Gaz with Dannys help I should have a copy of each before long...watched the all of them now and there is more footage of me on the two Dvds I didnt get than on the one I did:confused:...
Most of its quite sedate, but there are some good bits, I would post up some stills but my computer/camcorder is being gay! Some interesting overtaking on the snake. lol
What do people reckon to the filming/dvds then??
Im planning on getting a copy of all 3 dvds as Im hardly on the one I was sent...about 5mins tops out of a hour film!! Some good footage on there though...of everyone else. Ive got number 3 btw...
Actual 1/4 mile times that I know of -
TimO - 13.99
2live - 14.07
Nick Read - 14.06
Im sure there are a few quicker cars but Ive not heard of them running the 1/4 mile...what does your saxo run Ben? mid/high 13s??
I wonder if anyone who has owned a willy/16v can actually tell the difference in handling between the two cars....because on the occasions Ive seen your valver its always been able to stick with the N/w williams brigade round the corners..... ....we could have a good test next time at Oulton...
Ive tested my Williams against Dannyts valver many times his is a good one (made 120 bhp atw) and mine is stripped...... Off the mark there is NO difference until top of second gear where I start to inch half a car maybe, 3rd gear is where the difference in capacity starts to tell and the...
Oh dear...I wouldnt take a Williams much past 6.9/7k.....you sure it was the rolling road that broke your car as I cant see the F7r liking a constant 7.5k!?
sh*t man thats well bad:o, sounds like they were at fault but getting them to take responsibility might be another thing. Oh and I wouldnt be surprised if your engine blew if it was revving to 7.5K!!! You sure you dont mean 6.5k?
Think it was more than that really maybe just under 2 seconds but anyway thats quite a bit over a few laps....I thought the Cupra-R would be a bit slower round a track, but I hear they have very good brakes and grippy tyres on 18s.
in test round Rockingham in this weeks Nuts magazine! Leon Cupra R got 1:31 and the Cup 1:32 IIRC seems strange I though the 182 was quicker round the corners and in a straight line....well below 100/110 or so?
