Ive sometimes thought I could have saved myself some money if Id bought a 2.0 valver instead of a williams. However every time I see my car parked up I know its a special car. No offence to 16v drivers but I would consider a Williams to be a lot more than a 16v with wider track,wheels, stickers...

Toyos lasted me around 9k of hard driving, but at 40 quid each are good vfm. Perform very well in the dry as well.

:confused: Driving since 14 (on the road?) and a cup at 17 wtf! How do you afford/insure a cup at that age? Oh and I dont see how traction control would help stop you swapping ends if you brake going round a corner!?

Only seen one cup on the road, that I can remember and Ive seen 7-8 Williams in that time.

You really need to give the car a thorough examination before you can say if its a good price. If it really is MINT its worth the money but if its like the majority of mint car and has many hidden faults its worth a lot less. Not seen a cup round these parts maybe Ill see you I sometimes go for a blast round the roads between Garstang and Longridge. Some good backroads around these parts.

Seems theres a lot of 16v/Williams that are mint until you look a bit closer.......

These cars need a bit of TLC, now its ship shape you can go for drive see how it handles.:)

Your first post was almost perfect, but you should have stated that you toasted the Impreza from the lights up to 145 then your windup would have been complete!

Ive got monacos too, in blue rock fabric. With 4 point harnesses, very good just a problem when reversing and pulling out of bad visibility junctions.

172 would be silly money to insure at 18, It depends what you want really a valver will cost more to maintain than a Zetec-S but is fair bit faster. Also the Zetec S(low) is only 0-60 in 10 secs and 120 ish top speed so may not be (that) much faster than your car. Get a couple of insurance...
