Ive got viper, exhaust w/decat and chip if I believed the tuners my car would have about 180 bhp! lol I guess there must be some base for the 10 bhp claim, but I take all power claims with a pinch of salt.
They are useless, unless I know what it looks like on a breakdown of the suspension parts Im screwed. Asked the guy about suspension bushes and he said "you mean one of these?". Im thinking if he doesnt know what chance have I got?
I get it sometimes but I dont notice any change in the way the car runs or performs so I guess I shouldnt bother really, but it makes you think your cars faster, use it just for the mental edge!;)
I am looking to get some new track rod ends, full set of suspension bushes and suspension top mounts. My local reno garage just has a computer with a diagram of the suspension components no named items. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the part no for the above items so I can...
For 600 quid you should be able to get coilovers and a Viper. FK and gaz coilovers are quite reasonable have a look on http://www.k-tecracing.comwww.k-tecracing.com
250 bhp would be rampant in such a light car but would this amount of power not ruin the handling? Going round a corner trying to put 160 bhp down is hard enough would you not need a LSD to get anywhere fast?
In a few weeks I will have enough cash to treat myself to Headwork and fast road cams on my Williams, but the question is where do I go for the work? Also I could stretch to a unichip or similar but is it worth the (600 pounds) money? Hillpower/ BB / K-tec seems to be the main choices, GDI...
Hmm, I could lose a couple of stone but that takes much more effort than ripping something out of my car.;) I like weight reduction because its free and it DOES make a difference, anyone who thinks otherwise hasnt driven a stripped out car before and after. Am going to remove a few more bits...
I am looking to lose some more weight out of my car and was wondering if anyone knew the best way to do it. So far I have :
Removed all sound deadning
Spare wheel and cage
Rear seats
Rear interior panels
Removed jack
Swapped front seats for buckets
Thanks.
