Usual story after a year or two I'm afraid. Baffles come away from the mild steel centre section and rattle around. Most people replace the whole exhaust with a stainless system as it's usually cheaper then the Renault original.

Sounds like it wasn't fitted right. Happens quite a lot.

Apex springs will kill your dampers faster. Eibach springs have different characteristics too, more performance related.

I got some good gains from a prospeed so don't be put off. Depends on how much you want to spend, I think £700 on an exhaust is daft on a clio tbh, so little opertunity for big gains.
