If you're talking about 30th Anniversary, or Premier edition seats (Recaro) then yes, easy. Just buy the Clio subframes from Recaro.
If you're on about the single holed 'Type R' embroidered standard seats, I wouldn't bother - they're pap.
I _think_ it just does a speed/revs calculation, doesn't seem like anything as clever as gear sensor.
When the speedo isn't working the throttle response is a bit much in 4th/5th for motorway use, you barely have to put any pressure on the pedal to do 80+. I imagine it's done for motorway...
Mine has always done exactly the same in 4th/5th, it's definitely a deliberate feature IMO.
My speedo is currently intermittant, and when it drops out (and can't calculate the gear you're in) the throttle response changes while in gear.
A tip I was given was to loosen the top engine mount off, pull the engine as far forward as it will go, and then re-tighten.
Certainly improved my driving experience.
This^This.
I was there Friday and took a few shots, the NEC's bright orange carpet strikes as always.

I posted almost exactly the same thread a while back. Yours does look a little mis-shapen, but that might be the angle.
Here's mine:
Mine did this last night too, had done maybe 4 miles in central London to a garage. I filled up, jumped back in, and it just turned over without firing.
I took the key out of the barrel, gave it 5 seconds, and it then started on the third crank as it usually does.
There wasn't much time...
Any pointers?
Good friend of mine has a car that's not seen daylight in about 2 years, its a 2003 car, well looked after, just not been run in a long time.
Any pointers much appreciated.
