welcome !
I know my cup as standard sits way to high, lowering looks a LOT better and when getting good coilovers you'll improve the ride too. Something like H&R are liked very much here by members.
I just ordered some today :D
I would'nt go for 17inch wheels, they'll slow you down. No...
Know this; to save production-costs a LOT of models use the same parts and are therefore compatible. Look at Audi, VW, Skoda, Seat . You'd think they're all different untill you take them apart.
The 2.0 has different parts because engine is heavier , other tracking (wider) etc.
The Elf stuff is good. Only in the end i think it's better to go for full-synth.
Supposably the full synthetics do more "cleaning" of the engine and are better to keep all the oilleads/channels open. (excuse the poor English on that last part)
A little raise from work has been my excuse haha  Will have to explain to my lady :(
I'm wondering how you other H&R drivers have yours set-up.
-How low ?
-What Camber ? (slight camber adjustment without camberbolts is possible is'nt it ?)
- did you put on/fix something for...
when not going for clutch-dump starts in first gear, and shift correctly it should be fine
It's because of the aluminium housing that the box is weak. So when you thrash it, the power will probably eventually break it i guess..
The 200NM they (Reno) have come up with has been set at this after...
I've been told (still have to do this myself, same prob) that the mount under the battery has some kind of long pin running to the box, this can be loose. Very common problem. You'll need the car on a bridge though because you have to tighten from below (size 18) and someone has to hold the...
think one of your lambda sensors has gone (probably the first as this is the important one)
when this happens usually the engine management (do'nt know with the Omex though) goes in some kind of emergency-cycle/run and sets a rich mixture to avoid engine damage .
could be it
it does does'nt it ?
I think Henk is driving. As calm as he is when you speak to him on the phone, as beasty he supposably does laps on the ring:evil:
That BMW (?) coming up hard on it's tail is'nt doing too bad either
http://www.mbcarperformance.nl/catalog/images/movies/RSTnordschleife.mpg?osCsid=0ed54fe2c957db72888e47a846ce6d14 probably did'nt do this correctly, this is a link of a piece of filming the guys from MB did while testing.
pretty cool
yes and then only when running a recirculating one. They run the overpressure back into the system to keep the turbo running between gears i thought.
The open one just throws it out thus "leaking" thrust ?
Open ones are there only to let people know you've got a spinner in there
mmmm not really i think. I do warm up quite a bit but i thrash it every time i drive it.
Only when my girl is with me i can't drive fast.
I am going to put some Motul in it next time round though...
sorry, back on topic
I asked Maurice how much time he would need to do mine ; 2 days+- (so around 15/16 hours ?)
Do'nt know about the FMIC, might need a little cutting there ?
I remember scooby days. Mine did'nt though, but the boys running decat with open dumpvalve had pops and flames !
....So ... turbo your car , decat and pssssj thingy :clown:
Inside you could hear something of a discharge, but no pssj or anything. Have'nt had the chance to hear it from the outside..
I'm not too crazy about it, would want a quiet one.. Fast one in disguise !
This is a low pressure system, designed NOT to raise the pressure , upgrading would be exhaust i would say.
Once upgrading you'll have to start on engine internals, making you spend loads...
This is a low cost fast little clio-mod
It's hard when having size 11....
It's not used in everyday driving, very little peolple now how to use it correctly, to use it with benefit..
I might trie it some more then ;)
(have 15 years of experience..)
