I've already noticed a lot of scrubbing i get now on hard curving, because of the bumper-bracket. Chris172Cup has been very kind to explain how to overcome this by cutting parts away. Is there a(-nother) way to maybe heat up the mount and bend it away from the wheel cause i'm paranoid of blowing...
mounted the H&R last month and left the camber standard/neutral on emergency drivehome-setup after fitting. Wanted to wait till it settled in for final adjustment. Next week i will be going for 1,5 negative.
yes, 15 inch will be the one and i think i prefer the 195
cheers Fred, that's one very important one answered...
I would have thought lighter , making it more attractive for me. Shame...
But in all they may weigh the same (with tyres) in comparison.... standard 16"Turini / 15"Speedline2118
I've done the search and found plenty but....;)
-Do 15" wheels actually make the ride a lot better and does the weight-difference make it accelerate faster ?
-Does the ET 38 make the wheel come IN a little bit or OUT ?
-when running the 195 tyres it will not be nessescary to do the...
Do these stick out a little more or did they come back in a little
(was just wondering what you did to make it different, do'nt know the ET values in comparison to the 172cup)
Love them.. because they're white it kind of fools you into thinking they're 16" .
I think in regular silver/steel they would look smaller.
Do you notice the difference speed-wise ? (They're supposed to make a big difference in acceleration because of loss of weight?)
If so, i'd like...
sound will not be that loud because it's still in a box.. I know these ones , they are popular on Saxo's and 106gti's here in Holland. Performance-wise it will be better than an open one i think
Simota also sell the ones with the filter in a sort of "trumpet" (heat shield) with opening facing...
from below ? There's the pin that holds the wheel and maybe this is loose so water can enter there ?
... water should also drain from there then if that's the case ,so might be wrong...
b.t.w. this is a affordable way to get a big gain ... look past the shortshift

this is what my next mod will be
the exhaust mounts should be hanging "clear".
On my car it vibrated because the rear mount (Reno part) was'nt placed far enough to the back and the metal of the exhaust mount was touching the metal of the mount that goes on the car. when adjusting this one slightly so you'll see the pin...
Nice idea of removing battery to the back.
Is it possible to move it all the way back to the spare-wheel compartiment ? Will need to extend the wiring and i do'nt know if this will be okay ?
I removed all things from the back and a little more weight there would be nice , especially when...
if they did "research" to find the problem then this is where they billed you for the time..
"repair to wiring" - here you go, maybe something in the wiring was bust... i think it happens a lot on clios.
when i had a look under the seats and saw all the wiring and tight space to work in made me nervous... claustrofobic almost !
Now i've learnt to remove them from below the car i feel better.
..does battery need disconnecting for just the pretensioners ?
yes this is right .. but still when i looked under the seat there are a lot of wires there. Just not for the airbags , okay ..
so must just be the pretensioner-wires... Do i have to take power off the battery when disconnecting the wires under the seats ?
excellent replies guys thanks..
What bout the wiring and stuff, does it have to do with airbagsensors etc.? Do i have to take power off the batter before unplugging everything ? And do the buckles still work (tension) when this wiring is no longer connected ?
What to do with the wiring...
As above i'm wantng to fit my new buckets soon..
Any tips on how to remove the OE seats (Cup) . I was looking under the seats last week and could see a lot of connectors , also the pretensioner for the belt is in the way..
I've already read on here that you should unbolt the seats from below...
