The circuitry is different, the brake light is at the bottom of the bulb holder on the later models. It's far easier to change to the correct bulb holders. We put the old ones on a Trophy - looked mint!- Day

Quite possibly - you can use wheel spacers to get around it. Also you might need longer wheel bolts if you don't want the wheel to fall off!- Day
