Coilovers to stay up with other people or to look cool... they don't help you drive. Having said that if your 172 is on original dampers then they are probably past their website, and aftermarket suspension is normally cheaper than OE stuff. You look like you have the right stuff already...

It's a styling mod at the end of the day, to look euro. Shame the rest of the car doesn't look vaguely euro so IMO it doesn't suit it, whereas it makes more sense on Duttys car.
