you can sand them down to the plastic but theres probably not much point. if the paint on them is actual 'bodyshop' paint and not aerosol then they should be able to reprimer it, which is mask any imperfections when wet sanded. best bet would be to run it down your local bodyshop and get a few...
you can use that, but i cant really see why you'd need one. your going to have to sand them back - fill the edges where necessary and then resand. then it should just be a matter of repainting them, but you dont need one of them to get a good finish from spraying. especially if you've got...
not 100%, but i imagine they should be the same. i know that when i ordered my smoked ones i just ordered some that were 98+ they went on my 2003 clio no probs, however i did have to stanley knife off an unwanted lug on the back. (it had two, when the car can only accept one)
well its now been 3 days since i did my car, and i can honestly say its normally looking like it needs to be rewaxed, but it still looks 'wet' and much blacker than it usually does which can only be a good thing :)
i wanted a richbrook one for mine (2003) but i rung richbrook directly and they withdrew them from sale due to a product defect with the design, and currently have no plans to make another mould. isotta and momo dont do them either last time i checked.
always sceptical of these 'latest must have polishes' but gave this one a try off alex at serious performance, and must say im mightily impressed with it. never got chance to harass rich last night about polishes and crap, so thought id just post up lol.
for anyone that cares: i washed it...
looks good mate :)
how are you with insurance? could prob pick up a mint williams, 106 GTI, Saxo VTS for 3k, may even be able to get a high milage mk1 172
seriously k tec dont do one for the 1.2, you have to either bash the internals out of ure own, or get a custom exhaust place to make u one for around 250 quid. They dont do a stealth for the 1.2 either
