just seen you new seat update. great mod imo. looks and feels so much better than standard. i'll give you a hand mate. think im going to do this to mine as it will hide some of the scratches, plus it looks great. might have to trial test it on mine firstly.....just in case
its quite forgiving stuff rob. i carbon wrapped all my bits inside and out on my car before i got the real stuff and it peels off with no probs and doesn't leave any residue.
was in london last week with a friend and pulled at a kerb and this plonker in a corsa (coulnt have been more than 19yr old) said to my friend "what power is that mate" the reply was "about 180" (clio 182) only for the knob to say back "hmm, i would race ya but i dont want to lose my licence!"...
nice meet today guys. good to meet some faces ive met before, my regular group and some new faces. nice location too. im definitely up for coming again...want to see the blonde bar staff (she was quite yummy and also owned a clio, win win!) maybe we'll have a bbq next time! thanks to area reps...
i had/have the same symptoms. slight creaking noise when pulling away at slow speeds and braking from say 10mph to 0. also when turning the wheel to parallel park. thought it was the top mounts so i got the washer that sits underneath the mount, raising it. nope still does it. the took it to...
looking forward to this meet. (providing it doesnt p*ss down) got all my grub tonight. i bought 4 "extra tasty" chicken thighs only to get home and find out that its actually a full chicken! hope your all hungry. oh and 10 packs of pringles ftw!
as said above that ly look amazing. seems a few people are riding on ktecs, but they seem to get a few bad ratings on here. i guess for a budget coilover they cant be bad. nice drop withought being mega low.
are turinis the same width as standard wheels. the pics i see with turinis on coilvers seem to fill out the aches. when looking at mine my wheels are set quite in, hence the reason for this thread lol. wasnt too sure if i need spacers when lowering.
15's ftw then! your 1st pic is how i want it at the mo. likesaid i want to go lower but still have road comfort, might do 1 track day a year, plus i got creaking shock so it all makes sense and the vmaxx's tick those boxes for under £500.
that is gorgeous! im thinking of going 15's but will wait till my tyres are gone as i just had the done a few weeks back. is this still currently on vmaxx'x?
