dont lie, as i said in my post about gettin pulled by the police, they do check, luckily i had all mods declared and everything was legit. This is especially true if you live in staffordshire or cheshire as the copper said they ahve an initative at the mo full pulling young drivers and checkin...
yep no probs will get it sorted a bit later. I've used a seicento washer jet on mine, as it has 3 spouts so only one is needed, cost ab couple of quid from fiat
you wont like my next choice of wheels then ;)
you can get them in the perfect offset (i assume your talking about ronal turbos (r10)) think its et38/37 or you can get them in an et28 if your brave! They're stupidly cheap now, and looks absolutly mint, bit like schmidt th's without the cost!
2modified, dubmeister few others :) dubmeister are around the 85 quid mark each so about 350 for 4, you have to ring john for a price as they arent on his website
i spoke to a willwood supplier, and they claimed to have stopped doing the williams wilwoods now, which is gutting as its one of the only kits which would fit behind 15's bar the high specs, dont know how true this is though
its a pain in the arse to be honest, but the results are def worth it. The main problem isnt fitting it, its getting it straight. Another problem is that most of the dont come with a bonnet stop or washer jet holes, so you need to mount them on the scuttle panel and use a pole lmao
i was seriously thinking about big brakes, but your talking 800 quid fitted for the highspecs from k tec which is a lot of dosh, although would look awesome! As for the 172 discs, cliospares told me it couldnt be done, summit to do with suspension but to be honest i think thats a load of bull as...
depends if the lights are on at the time ;)
seriously, you can cut the connector blocks off and then solder the wires directly to one another, or use good quality connector blocks. if its under warranty then take it back and they;ll have to sort it. altho renault themselves told me that...
ah, got confussed, yeah the 2118's (if i've got that part right as well ;)) will look good in grey, never seen em before in that colour so will be different! Just do your standard badges in grey, will look just as good :)
no no no to 2.0 badges! really not needed ;) looks nice mate, personally would have done the drums black, as little attention as possible should be drawn to the fact you aint got an engine ;)
white wheels will go down a treat if thats what your still thinking of getting :)
yeah. 7.5'' is as narrow as a i think 18's come in, so you should get away with it. i would prefer an et more in the region of 40, so that i could bring it out on spacers to the correct one.
mine on my 1.2 used to creak like buggery when turning the wheel slowly, but renault fixed it under warranty. they were crap at explaining what they'd done, but did point out replacing rubber seals. god knows where.
ah. you mean instead of the clio badge and stuff. theres a couple of mint german sites i found ages ago when i bought a 'maxi tuning' magazine, but they never post to england
ask for the et measurement.. stamped on the back of the alloy - and then take the tyre width, and alloy width if known. the alloys will normally fit onto the car, but on a 18'' it will need lowering which is why the offset is crucial, as you dont want it to catch.
