you can have your exhaust made quiter by going to a company such as powerflow and having an in-line silencer installed. i had one put into my last exhaust as it sounded like a bloody tractor when pulling off, and in fairness it did do a good job of muting the noise.
you mean folia-tec ;) ive heard its good as its flexible, but personally i wouldnt dare on the clio as the dash is already covered in vinyl stuff - which would have to to be removed. if you mean the solid plastic centre, then do it in traditional paint just plastic prime it.
everytime i want some i just pop down to my local graphics centre that do vans and custom vinyls. just tell them what i want, come back in a day or two and your sorted.
i just rung round from companies in the yellow pages and didnt take me long to find a couple.
i could do it for you. i'll send you some pics next week when ive finished dannyboys and makavellis. dannys is definetely going to feature racing blue, whilst andys is likely to be a mixture of black and candy red, but we're not sure yeah lol
both exist so best recheck in the morning to make sure.
otherwise buy the suspension kit you want, and then buy some new hubs from a scrappy in the correct size.
ultimately you could fit 10'' wide wheels, but you'd just have to raise the suspension up until it didnt catch. so just wack them on :D
gonna PM me with what your fitting ;) as im being gay and going for old skool wheels lol
none of them will fit under the arches nicely, but i dont think they'll stick out.
my willys are a 15'' x 7'' width on a et 36, and fit perfectly.
in having a 7'' with an et of 20 you'll be 16mm further out, so it'll be right on the lip of the arch. if you went for low profile 13's i...
you need to measure the vertical distance between the two big horizontal bolts at the bottom of your suspension strut.
if you turn your steering to full lock you should be able to reach in, and check the measurement.
remember to measure from the centre of each bolt, and you'll be fine.
i;m pretty certain u'd be able tog et one, but it wouldnt be cheap. As far as i know theres a law which states you have to make all replacement parts available for so many years for older cars, think its around the 20 year mark?
if you've spray canned the inserts the bodyshop wont touch them, unless you sand them back to the plastic, or get them to do it.
your cheapest option is to source spare plastic panels, and then expect to pay anything from 100-300 depending who you go to.
you should have really asked the bodyshop, as it does vary depending what materials they've used. to be on the safe side, just use a non-abrasive wax like p21, and leave it at least a couple of months before using polishes
LMFAO! loving that pic steve! it was a joke jainy, my missus loves cars and i'm sure when she can afford one she'll have a much better one than me, and every day she tells me shes a better driver ;)
the V6 was an 02 plate i think? ph1 anyhow
