Leave the 172 as it is. Put a new engine in the 182 and sell it. Keep the fucked engine to rebuild with cam's, head work and throttle bodies and bung it in the 172 one winter. Hopefully the 182 will pay for most of it.
Clio trophy. For a toy you want it to be special, a Meg would just feel like a daily you don't use much where as the 182 recipe will never be replicated again and obviously the trophy is the pinnacle of that line. And there's a chance it won't cost you much if you sell in a few years.
If the weather is anything like it has been this year next September could be a good time to go? Schools back so less tourists about and not too cold and the days aren't too short either.
Yep that's the best way to do it. If it's planned far enough in advance it gives people more time to get on board, but we need to pick a time and place first then finalise the route later and look and B&Bs etc.
@SharkyUK may be able to help with finding some good Welsh tarmac?
It looks so smooth and perfect there. It'll look awesome when it's put back together mate. For the bullits how about some gris titane (697 titanium to us!) as it's a lovely metal shade and sparkly too??
For a weekend I'd say B&B. Warm bed and cooked breakfast gotta be a winner. And you're not restricted to one area as you can stay elsewhere on a second night.
I definitely felt a little worse from the PS3's and they were well worn! The yokos are a bit better with the b14's in running now as opposed to the firmer cooksport springs. If PS3's were out of budget I'd go S-drive again, but they would be second choice.
