i assume he would be, as he said 'custom modified airbox' which normally means hes drilled a load of holes in it, so it suffers from heat soak, but makes a dodgy noise.

yes. you want to bond / fix it down securely and then i would personally drive round for a week or so, just to make sure it isnt going to move/work loose. (just saves you work in the long-run)
