thats a fooking good offer. any good bodyshop can stikaflex them onto the car, and clamp them overnight and they'd be perfect.
if i didnt already have my sideskirts i'd have had these off you.
couple of people on corsa-c have been down to enquire about retrims and were told in the region of £1500 for a full retrim including door cards. so just the back shouldnt be too much on its own.
stitching isnt normally that much when your having it retrimmed, but couldnt say for definete.
almost missed this lol yeah mine are real carbon fibre but to be honest the imatation looks almost as good without the hassle ;) if you want some real carbon fibre thats easy to work with (almost as easy as the imatation stuff) give me a pm.
to be honest mine isnt too bad at the mo (u can see a bit of it in my avatar lol), got the bodyshop to even it up a bit. Think its more a case of he shitty renault fixtures than the bonnet itself, as i've seen some standard bonnets which are a lot wonkier than mine lol.
last pic looks like it would probably fit when placed in the correct location - unless of cause you've tried it there.
the bumper does taper down a fair bit at the end, so looks like it may fit.
is it upside down, as then the non-square edge may follow the line of the bumper better...
thats the problem i have lol. Just rung up adian flux and they'd insure me for 1200 on a vtr with engine work, on 4k a year really impressed to be honest
ive been looking at the vts, because when compared with the gti or a rallye they do work out cheaper. just had a word with mum and dad and they said ok, but depends on how much space we have at the next house *crosses fingers* :D
i'm probabally looking at a rallye as an actual weekend car, and would track it as well as its already semi stripped and track ready. Also insurance isnt that bad. Has anyone got experience of the facelift s2's?
i can see your point, but i wont be tracking it that much, and to be honest if i had a track car i'd prob use it more as a fast road car, which is why i'm considering a conversion.
i'm just considering whether it would be economically viable to buy a second car, when i might not use it that...
^ yours is protected by a layer of dirt ;)
seriously though, i'm gonna actually learn how to drive on a track in the 1.2 first and go to a couple of track days, it was watching you go round the track that made me realise you're not gonna get shown up going round in a slower car and its all...
In the next year i'm thinking about getting a tweeked 172 engine conversion in my car or buying a second car purely to track. obviously theres loads of possible track cars, but im considering a valver/williams/vts/vtr/106 rallye/punto gt/ mk1 172
theres loads of pros and cons about each one...
