sounds about right for renault. i dont hold out much hope of them doing their jobs properly which is why (altho i have a warranty) i would rather pay a proper garage to do it for me
sorry, but he's talking out of his arse. if they actually take the time and effort to do a good job then it'll never flake or peel, its just crucial they use the correct plasticisers in the paint/primer. my cars currently in the bodyshop and they offer a 10year warranty on all work.
the problem i had was that when the car came back it looked mint and perfect, but after a while the paint starting chiping, cracking etc etc. As long as you can see an example of their work it shuold be fine but just go to the one with the best reputation or you'll be forking out more in the...
honestly mate i wouldnt just go for the cheapest quote. I made that mistake and i've never seen such shoddy workmanship, so much so that i'm now paying on of the most expensive to redo all the shoddy work before FCS. I did however do my sides myself, and found that they looked fine, although you...
ben_p on here did it and looked mint get in contact with him. I assume you mean the whitish area around the twin optics? if so dont see that being a legality issue
you'll know it if you see it, its not a 172 its a 1.2 but looks kinda like one from a distance as i've got a smoothed front bumper, and 172 rear. numbr plates M15DDO so u'll know whenn u see me :)
i assume hes had it attached to CLiP? if not i'd get that done as soon as possible. mine did the whole limp mode thing, and it turned out to be a throttle summit or other (cant remember the actual thing)
i think mines a 200 cpsi because i wanted to keep a bit more torque, i was gonna for a 100 but both prospeed and powerflow said i'd loose to much torque and it'd be more fun to drive with the 200 (obviously thats with a 1.2 not a 1.6 lol). I've had it rolling roaded and the torque curve was...
^ agree with that one, renault specialist is the way to go. Theres a really good one by me who charges a fraction of the price of the dealership and imo does a better job
^ have you got one on yours dink? i found mine made a big difference to performance (what little i have lol), and gave a really nice raspy pop to the exhaust
no i'd prefer you to say something more constructive than 'that sounds poop' the videos were posted as a lot of people have been asking what it sounds like as they were considering that system. If you wanna hear it in real life and rejudge your free to come and see me at FCS, then i'll take your...
