i think kathy said she drove it and it was better than the normal 197, or i could have imagined that.
I think the surprise of the day was the DCi 175, it performed exceptionally well, just needed a different driving style what with second gear coming quicker than a teenager in a brothel;)
there was a big thread about it, YDL is the OS of choice,
I was until I realised that you need USB keyboard and mouse ( i only have wireless) and it doesn't support wireless and i am miles from my router so don't really want a cable.
I was all up for doing it and will do once it supports wireless
its graphically very nice, and fun for a while but after 30 mins i got bored really, same old thing time over again.
I used to like the game 15 years ago but its not really my thing these days, hardly changed from the original except better graphics.
canon 350d with a 70-200 F4 L lens.
nope, was just spectating this time, can't afford it after ordering the new car.
So didn't get to drive the R27, sat in it and the seats are, well, nice for a track but i'm not sure how long i could take them on a long motorway journey.
The 175 DCi RS...

because of bad traffic I only arrived 20 mins before the end so was in a real rush and the light was fading fast so it was rather difficult to take decent pics.
Got a few keepers though!
Anyone see that...
nobody will get 8mb on an adsl 8mb service, thats the maximum you could get if you lived inside the bt exchange.
you can find your sync speed by checking your router, or by going to one of those sites that checks your speed, but you will very unlikely be getting 8mb, i get 4 and I am 1 mile...
lol, know how you feel, my dad worked as slow as dialup worked so i doubt hes any quicker now with 8mb BB, watching him type is like pulling teeth, i just can't watch him, it pains me!
I suppose at least they try, hes just got to get used to the fact that its now always there and on when he...
know what you mean about the screens roy, I think they really are the best screen on the market.
A friend of mine got a very decent spec laptop from Dell today 2gb ram, DC1.7 core duo, 120gb hdd, 256mb x1400 (128mb hypermemory) and 15.4" widescreen and it was only £650 but the chassis is pretty...
i like your style roy, i too have a TR1 (11") and an A417S (17")
perfect combination, 17" for everyday desktop replacement use and the 11" for when i go on holiday to download my pics to each night.
how are your parents about computing, are they good with them or are they struggling.
My dad thinks hes good with them and jokes he is tech support at work sometimes, in reality hes not that good but not bad for an old man i guess.
He has always had dialup and wouldn't go BB as he didn't want...
i have one of the previous models of these, pretty much the same spec except its 2Ghz single core and 1GB ram.
I was thinking of getting the S model with the blu-ray writer in but it seems to have a few problems according to people who have them on forums.
great laptops, amazing screens.
mine failed on emmissions, dodgy lambda sensor.
If you want a replacment exhaust Karen, I know a man who has a few, Mike@Rentech has a load he has taken off peoples cars to fit aftermarket ones so i'm sure he could sort you out.
thanks
good price, saw them in pcworld too but i think they look boring, the freecom looks so much nicer IMO but I guess at the end of the day they both do the same thing.
yes, i have just bought one of the freecom ones from pcworld for my brothers birthday, great deal, hard to beat for the product.
who cares if its pcworld, you telling me they are worse than some of these crooks that call themselves etailers, places you can't even call and can only email.
At...
its defo on top, i have bt and the BB package is £25.99 and the line rental £11 i think.
they are doing offers for half price bb for 6 months i think at the moment.
they aren't the cheapest but they are very good.
