well i'm no real expect but an icy box is an external hard drive holder, but takes internal drives as they seem to be better made and quieter. but there are some good ext HD's out there. check

PCworld are doing a 400gb 'Freecom' external drive for £84.99. Its a USB one, i have one myself
yes, i have just bought one of the freecom ones from pcworld for my brothers birthday, great deal, hard to beat for the product.
who cares if its pcworld, you telling me they are worse than some of these crooks that call themselves etailers, places you can't even call and can only email.
At least with pcworld you can go in and choose your product and speak to someone if theres a problem, its not exactly their own brand.
