Excellent m8 - thanks for the quick response.
I think given the relatively small price difference between the two - I think I'll suggest the genuine Sky units.
Cheers,
D.
I was thinking that might be the most straight-forward method. Any idea how long in-between connections the Sky boxes can go for? If its several months, it's probably worth it. If its several days, maybe not. :)
Any links to those adapters m8?
Cheers,
D.
Chaps,
Not too sure which way to head with this. I've had a request to sort out connections for eight SkyHD boxes to the BT phone line, that they all seem to require?
One box is easy enough to sort - but exactly how could eight separate boxes be connected in the same property but in different...
^^^ - doesn't that just sum up the purchasing decision for this Golf buyer too?
Stick a Dacia badge on the boot. After they say "WhoTF is that?" while pointing at the logo, next they will simply laugh at you when saying that it costs £20k. Double it and add a VW sticker and the world is alright...
Instant reaction? I despise the switch - I've a proper soft-spot for those Leon's and your's looked a beauty. To swap that for a white TT of all things?? Ewwwwwww.... ;)
That said, I simply cannot fault your commitment (and pockets) to your ultimate goal. It beats simply tweaking a Scooby or...
That's intriguing. I didn't like the original at all - more a grind-game with a sprinkling of units, than a 'true' RTS in my mind. It was the complete opposite end of the Supreme Commander spectrum, where the player churning out the highest quantity of units in the game - wins.
It had a lot of...
Bring on the next-gen consoles, is all I can say. It will do nothing other than increase the complexity and presentation of the cross-platform titles (which appear to be 99.8% of the market these days).
Better console hardware means we can finally get around to shifting our PC's out of 2nd...
Could well be this. But the lights on the dash didn't exactly go mental as you described, more it appeared that the car is 'dying' from lack of power.
A good test for the alternator is to put your wipers on. Do they arc across the screen really slowly - even on full speed? If it is the...
No.3 was a nice surprise for me. I never got into the later GTA games, and I thought SR3 would have just been another alternative.
I prefer it tbh. Totally OTT and quite funny to boot. Will be keeping an eye on the reviews of SR4.

Ohhh - dodgy ground! ;)
You might not like a game or app that you download - but there's a good chance that one of your mates will. Then you'll pass it on to him/her, FOC.
The knock-on issue now is with bandwidth vs. download size. I know people who purely go for blu-ray editions of films to...
I see what you did there. And I whole-heartedly agree.... ;)
Origin is the army of Mali in comparison to Steam's US carrier-based Navy of Whoopass....
D.
Lol - good find Andy!
Without sounding all holier-than-thou - I haven't downloaded anything illegal in years. Steam makes my purchases so easy these days and I'm still an 'ol stickler for audio CDs, rather than a digital download. And as for films? Perleeeese. Having a film that has clipping...
Solely worth it for the wing-sticks in the game. Many an FPS has attempted a throwing weapon that usually fails miserably. In Rage though, it is epic - slicing through several enemies in some Blade-esque type of encounter. I actually preferred using those than most of the firearms in the game...
Yep - pre-ordered mine on the first day that you could! :)
Must admit, I prefer the 'flow' of the first game so far. Hopefully that might change with the full game though.

I'll be staying well clear of this, short of it appearing at 99p on Steam.
The first game was an utter mess. A ludicrous, pathetic leveling-system of enemy zombies in single player, where they magically rose in toughness as your own stats progressed. A foot-stomp generated 6-times the damage of...
I haven't got an issue with most of the bugs and issues - especially if they get addressed with patches and updates.
What I do have major gripes with - are when the game fundamentally fails from the get go. An immediate example I can think of was with Rage, when running on ATi cards. At the...
Have you started with the SP campaign yet? Pretty brutal in parts - I'd arguably say it's the most violent of the COD campaigns so far. Still thoroughly enjoyable - and it has several 'endings' too - dependant on your actions during the SP game.
Certainly worth a play-through if you have the...
Same here on my previous car. Got the tyres fitted at dinner, and on the way home from work - BANG! A nail (luckily) straight in the middle of the tyre. Phoned the garage up and the guys there repaired it FOC - which was decent of them!
Funny the OP mentioned P-Zero Neros. My offside front had...
I don't know if they are common or not, but one tyre place I went to, had heavy-duty rubber bags that were inflated by a compressor. Slid underneath the jacking point like a small pillow and it raised the car high enough to change the wheel in about 10secs.
Great idea I thought - but not...
Either that, or pot luck! :)
I've been with Netcom, Freeserve, NTL, Zen and BT and have never had an issue apart from a small outage for maybe an hour. Same with mobiles too.
I'm either one of life's lucky b******s with stuff like this - or like you say, it's purely geographic placement.

I do a reformat and reinstall when changing a mere sound card or gfx card. Without question, I'd be doing that with a new motherboard - even if it was the same board, with a new revision! :)
